At Nokia Telecommunications (NTC), we develop and manufacture infrastructure equipment and systems for mobile and fixed networks. NTC Camberley design and manufacture base stations which control and monitor our digital cellular networks.

Due to our success in this high technology area, we are looking to recruit Software Engineers at various levels to expand and compliment existing R&D teams.

For all positions at least 1-2 years relevant experience is required, ideally in a process driven environment. For more senior roles a thorough grounding in the full development life cycle is expected

Real-Time Embedded and User Interface

Opportunities up to Group Leader, depending on role, typical experience will include; a recognised object orientated and/or a structured design methodology plus appropriate high level language, preferably C/C++; windows development preferably within NT4.0/Windows 95. Group leaders will additionally require proven leadership and planning experience.

DSP

Available roles include both DSP algorithms development and their implementation, up to Group Leader level. Dependant on role, typical knowledge and experience required includes algorithm development, modelling and implementation, a high level language, preferably C/C++, a design methodology, DSP/ASIC architecture, telecoms algorithms, leadership and planning.

Process Development

This strategic role encompasses the development of global software quality and processes including associated methods and tools. Experience in a similar role is required.
